Buckman Hardy Associates design and supply a wide variety of production test equipment. These test boxes provide precise voltages, currents, and resistances to calibrate and verify both performance and functionality of products. They enable factory adjustment and calibration checking in an ergonomic manner for speed of use, hence lowering the cost of the finished product.

Buckman Hardy’s test equipment designs include automated test and calibration systems which are controlled by a PC. Many instruments have serial communication ports (RS232, USB or wireless), this allows PC control to set up the measurement conditions, initiate tests and log the results without user intervention. The test sequence results can then be used to generate calibration certificates and Q.A. data.

The rack mount fixture in the photograph automatically runs a complex sequence of tests for a PAT tester controlled by PC software.
